The James Wigg Practice prides itself on a full maternity service. This includes antenatal clinics run by our linked midwives from University College London Hospital. We also provide maternity links with the Royal Free and the Whittington Hospitals. The majority of our patients are seen in our UCH midwife based clinic here.

Those having antenatal care at the Royal Free and the Whittington do not normally attend the antenatal clinic at the James Wigg Practice.

A pregnancy pack is available with information concerning your pregnancy when you first inform us of your pregnancy. The antenatal referral is done at this time. The midwives generally hope to see you within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

A programme of the frequency of your visits and your antenatal contacts can be provided for you at the time of booking and informing us of your pregnancy. We have a full baby clinic service following the birth of your child and hope very much you will attend for post natal and baby care at the James Wigg Practice.

Please note; do not bring unwell children to these clinics. If your child is ill and needs to see a doctor please make an appointment for them through reception in the usual way
